What is the difference between parked and addon domains?

An addon domain is a fully functional domain that can be created from your cPanel. Once it's created it can have it's own email, and will have it's own folder from within the public_html directory.

Parked domains are a place holder site. You park it on top of another site. Basicly the parked domain is set to redirect to the main domain in the cpanel account.
